League Two rivals Barrow and Port Vale lock horns in midweek action, as both clubs begin their EFL Cup campaign following the start of the league season last weekend.
Both sides opened their league accounts with a win in the first League Two fixtures of the season, Barrow claimed a 1-0 win over Crewe, while recently relegated Port Vale triumphed 2-0 away at Salford.
Barrow were knocked out in the first round in 2023, whereas Vale enjoyed a fantastic run in the EFL Cup last season, reaching the quarter-finals before losing out to Championship opposition in the form of Middlesbrough.

Barrow v Port Vale will be played at Holker Street in Barrow, and kick-off is at 19:45 BST on Tuesday 13th August.
Barrow opened their League Two account with a home win over Crewe last weekend, the Bluebirds endured a tough end to last season however, losing five of their last seven league games to miss out on the play-offs.
Port Vale were relegated following a disastrous second half on the season in League One, The Valiants won just one of their last 10 away matches last season.

Former Port Vale defender Theo Vassell made a scoring competitive debut for Barrow in their 1-0 win over Crewe at the weekend and the 27-year-old is likely to continue at the heart of the Bluebirds defence against his former club.
Port Vale captain Ben Garrity should retain his place for the trip to Barrow after scoring twice against Salford last time out.
