The first match of the EFL League One season takes place on Friday evening, when Barnsley host newly promoted Mansfield under the lights at Oakwell.
Barnsley lost out in the play-off semi-finals last season after finishing sixth in League One and the Tykes are amongst the favourites to mount another promotion charge this campaign.
Nigel Clough's Mansfield Town earned promotion from League Two last season courtesy of a third placed finish and the Stags will play third-tier football this season for the first time in 21 years.

Barnsley lost convincingly in their last pre-season friendly before the start of the league season, losing 4-0 at home to Italian giants Roma. However Darrell Clarke's men did beat recently promoted Derby County 4-3 in their previous fixture.
Mansfield have recorded an unbeaten pre-season campaign, although they haven't played against any sides in the same division or above.

Barnsley boss Darrell Clarke has brought back former players Conor Hourihane and Marc Roberts this summer and both could be handed starts on Friday evening.
Veteran striker Lee Gregory joined Mansfield on a free transfer this summer, and the 35-year-old could be handed a start against Barnsley.
