The great Lionel Messi was the winner of the 2019 Ballon d'Or award.
The Argentine superstar captured the award for the sixth time in his career, which saw him go one clear of Cristiano Ronaldo's tally of five.
Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk finished just behind Messi in the voting, while Ronaldo had to settle for third place.
Three of van Dijk's Liverpool teammates also finished in the top ten after the club won the UEFA Champions League in 2019.
Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah finished fourth and fifth, while Brazilian goalkeeper Alisson was voted in seventh place.
There was also a place in the top ten players for the likes of Kylian Mbappe and Robert Lewandowski.
