On the undercard of Saturday night's heavyweight world title fight between Daniel Dubois and Fabio Wardley lies a cracking affair that could provide punters with some real betting value.
Bakhodir Jalolov is an amateur standout with two Olympic gold medals to his name.
However, for all of his undoubted talent, there is a stark contrast between amateur and professional boxing, and it's fair to say that he hasn't quite transitrioned into life within the paid ranks as well as he would have hoped.
Yes he may possess an impressive 17-0 record with 15 of those coming inside the scheduled distance, but it's fair to say he hasn't yet really won everyone over.
The Uzbeki has laboured in his recent contests to a couple of decision victories and a seventh round stoppage win last time out.
It's now time that he put his foot down on the pedal and proves he can fly through those gears and take care of business in more emphatic and eye-catching manner.
Solomon Dacres, on the other hand, has not found that stand out win in his professional career so far, but he also enjoyed a solid amateur career of his own -- not as decorative as Jalolov, though he still represented Team GB.
The Birmingham native suffered a crushing knockout defeat in the first round to David Adeleye in 2024 and he only fought once last year.
Given that both fighters to tend to like to box, and taking their superb amateur schooling, there is every reason to believe this fight will go late.
Of course, there will be those backing the far more heavy-handed and talented Jalolov to find that early stoppage, but I just don't see that happening.
I think Jalolov winning the fight down the home stretch is a far more realistic shout and even then, that stoppage will only come if he shows the heart and desire to get his man out of there.
If not then he will likely labour to another unanimous decision -- either way, it will be a long, tough night for Dacres.
