Austria v France team news

Austria team news

Injured players David Alaba, Sasa Kalajdzic and Xaver Schlage are not in the Austria squad and of their travelling party only Gernot Trauner is a minor concern after he missed training on Friday, although he should be available.

Michael Gregoritsch is likely to start in favour of veteran Marko Arnautovic in the Austrian attack.

France team news

France may opt not to risk Aurelien Tchouameni due to a foot injury so Juventus' Adrien Rabiot should start in midfield.

Dayot Upamecano and William Saliba seem likely to start as France’s central defensive pairing, with the latter having edged ahead of Ibrahima Konate in the pecking order.

Deschamps must also decide whether to start with Kylian Mbappe as a lone striker, or pair him with veteran Olivier Giroud.
