Australian Federal Election Odds: Labor Party favourites for a second term

The Australian Labor Party will seek a second term in power when the nation goes to the polls in 2025.

Anthony Albanese was elected prime minister after the 2022 election in which the Labor Party won 77 seats to hold a narrow majority, with 76 required.

Peter Dutton, who took over the Coalition in the wake of the 2022 election following former prime minster Scott Morrison's resignation, will lead the party into the 2025 election.
