Austin ‘Ammo’ Williams faces Patrice Volny over 12 rounds in the early hours of Sunday morning, as the middleweight prospect looks to re-establish him at 160lbs after suffering the first defeat of his career in 2024.
Williams looked a little shaky in his last bout - his first since being stopped by Hamzah Sheeraz last June - but should have far too much in the locker for Canada’s Volny, who is taking a huge step up in competition.
I think this is a fight that Williams will win without much issue and am backing his athleticism and punching power to overwhelm his 35-year-old opponent en-route to a win inside the distance.
