Artur Beterbiev v Anthony Yarde Bet Boosts: Including 18/1 shot

Beterbiev, who has stopped all 18 of his opponents since turning professional over a decade ago, is the odds-on 1/7 favourite to retain hold of his priced WBO, WBC and IBF titles against a foe whose only ever shot at world glory ended in defeat.

However, despite Yarde’s late stoppage loss at the hands of Sergey Kovalev back in 2019, the Hackney-born fighter has told bet365 that he couldn’t be any more confident of overcoming the, up to now, irrepressible Russian.

Speaking to bet365 in the build-up to the fight, he said: “This fight ends with a knockout, by Anthony Yarde! This is a knowing energy, a knowing vibration. It is a belief within me.

“Things always happen as they are meant to happen. I pay attention to the journey, because the destination only lasts for a very small amount of time.

“The journey has been years of work. When you read a book you don’t just flick to the end because that would be boring, it’s all about the full story, the build-up.

“I am a very patient person, and I believe in my journey, and I believe that this is my time!”
