Arsenal Women have confirmed they will play all 11 Women's Super League games at the Emirates Stadium in the 2025/26 season.
Arsenal Women have repeatedly broken the attendance record for women's games in England, doing so when playing Tottenham at the Emirates in September 2022 when watched by 47,367 spectators. The success of such games has seen Arsenal return to the Emirates more often of late, playing all bar two WSL games there last season.
Arsenal's average attendance for the two games at Meadow Lane last season was around 3,600, dwarfed by the attendances at the Emirates which exceeded 30,000 on average, topped out by the 56,784 who watched the North London derby as Arsenal beat Tottenham 5-0.
The move should help the club solidify its domestic home form; under Renee Slegers, the side have won all eight WSL games played at the Emirates, though the club will move its UEFA Women's Champions League group games back to Meadow Park, with none of the three last season reaching 10,000, though the knockout phase did see 22,517 and 40,045 for the quarter-finals and semi-finals respectively.
Slegers said: "I’m so proud of the journey we’ve been on with our supporters this season. From Borehamwood to the Emirates, on the road to every WSL and European destination we visited, and of course all the way to Lisbon, they’ve shown up and we've fuelled each other to an historic season for our club."
"For us, this is just the beginning, and bringing every WSL match to the Emirates is another step for more supporters to be part of this special journey. We’ll come back next season, with fire in our hearts, more determined, more ambitious, and more together than ever."
After a period of unrivalled dominance in the early 2000s, winning 11 out of 12 league titles, Arsenal have struggled somewhat in the WSL era, winning one of the last 13 titles.
Despite not being able to get over the line domestically, Arsenal have remained one of the most consistent sides in the women's game, finishing outside the top three just once in the WSL era, and winning the UEFA Women's Champions League in 2025.
