The inaugural league phase draw of the UEFA Champions League has seen Arsenal drawn against Paris Saint-Germain and Inter.
The Gunners made their long-awaited return to Europe's elite last season but ran into a familiar foe in Bayern Munich. In seven straight seasons, Arsenal were eliminated at the last 16 with Bayern responsible for three of those exits. Sure enough, the German giants knocked Arsenal out again last season, albeit at the quarter-finals.
But under Mikel Arteta, the Gunners are much improved. They've surpassed Liverpool as the third best team in the country with many bettors backing them to oust Manchester City as Premier League winners. Only City and last season's winners Real Madrid are shorter than Arsenal in the outright market, and based on their performances against Pep Guardiola's side last term, in which they didn't concede a goal, winning one and drawing one of their two meetings, the Gunners have absolutely nothing to fear.
The draw has also been kind to Arsenal, with no particularly long away trips, three very winnable home games and none of the competition's biggest hitters.
