Here is everything you need to know ahead of this weekend’s undisputed bout as one of the sport’s pound-for-pound stars returns to action.
Women’s boxing great Amanda Serrano will bid to make further history this weekend and become the first Puerto Rican to fully unify the featherweight division.
The 34-year-old holds three of the division’s world titles and is the 1/8 favourite to add 9/2 chance Erika Cruz’s WBA strap to her collection on the United States’ east coast.
Cruz has made two successful defences of the title she claimed back in April 2021, but faces a tall order to make it three against the most decorated women’s boxer of all-time.

The undisputed world featherweight showdown will take place in the early hours of Sunday 5th February 2023.
The main televised card is expected to begin at 01:00 GMT with the ring walks for the main event likely to take place at around 03:00 GMT.
The big fight, together with a stacked undercard, will take place inside Madison Square Garden’s Hulu Theatre.
The iconic New York venue has played host to some of the biggest names on the planet, including the likes of Mike Tyson, Vasiliy Lomachenko and Teofimo Lopez.
The fight will be shown live on DAZN to customers in the UK.
Serrano is the odds-on 1/8 favourite to fully unify the featherweight division, while Erika Cruz can be backed at 9/2 to reign supreme and inflict a third career defeat upon the Puerto Rican.
All four world featherweight straps will be on the line in New York, with Serrano holding the WBC, IBF, WBO and Ring titles, and her opponent, Cruz, currently in possession of the WBA version of the 126-lb belt.
The supremely-talented southpaw comes into the bout boasting an impressive record which reads 43-2-1, 30 KO’s, with her only defeats coming at the hands of Frida Wallberg in 2012 and Katie Taylor last year.
She is a one-time unified featherweight world champion, and has won nine world titles at a remarkable seven different weight classes.
The Mexican fighter has won 15 of her 16 bouts, being beaten just once by Alondra Gonzalez in just her second professional fight.
Since that defeat in June 2016, the 32-year-old has embarked upon a 14 fight winning streak and notching up three KO victories in the process.
The huge night of boxing in New York features a stacked undercard, including unified super-featherweight world champion Alycia Baumgardner and the hugely-talented Skye Nicholson.
