Almost 30 years on since the second and final bout between their two legendary fathers - Chris Eubank Sr and Nigel Benn - their sons Chris Jr and Conor are set to rekindle this famous British rivalry at London's O2 Arena on 8th October.
Dubbed as a trilogy bout between the two fighting families, former IBO super-middleweight champion Eubank Jr and perhaps British boxing's biggest rising star Benn will collide in a 157lbs catchweight contest.
The settled weight for the fight has proved controversial, with 32-year-old Eubank Jr agreeing to undertake a harsh weight cut with 25-year-old Benn set to weigh in heavier than he ever has before.
With Chris Eubank Sr stopping Nigel Benn in their first fight in 1990, and the second bout ruled a draw three years later, there appears to be a score to settle between their two warrior sons.
