Al-Nassr potential next manager

We take a look at who Al-Nassr might approach to become their next manager after Stefano Pioli left to join Fiorentina.

Jorge Jesus

Formerly manager of Al-Nassr's rivals Al Hilal, Jorge Jesus has five trophies to his name in Saudi Arabia, including a league and cup double in 2023/24.

Jesus has been without a club since he departed Al Hilal and was even touted as a potential candidate for the Brazil job before the Selecao opted for Carlo Ancelotti to lead them into the 2026 World Cup.

Away from Saudi Arabia, Jesus has experienced success in Portugal and Brazil, winning league titles with both Benfica and Flamengo.

Sérgio Conceição

Recently sacked by AC Milan, Sérgio Conceição could be the perfect choice for Al-Nassr as they look to re-energise a club that has failed over recent seasons.

He was voted Primeira Liga Best Coach on three occasions, matching the number of league titles he won during a fruitful spell as FC Porto boss before he left for Italy.

Even though his time in Milan was short, Conceição still managed to get his hands on silverware, capturing a Supercoppa Italiana trophy right at the beginning of his reign at the San Siro.

Luciano Spalletti

It was only earlier this month that Luciano Spalletti revealed himself - in a very Luciano Spalletti way - that he would be sacked as Italy coach.

The enigmatic boss only managed to win half of his games in charge of his country with a 3-0 loss to Norway in World Cup qualifying the final straw.

But, a return to coach could be on the horizon with the opportunity to replace countrymate Stefano Pioli one that would be in keeping with his nomadic career in management.
