Dutch giants Ajax host Panathinaikos in Europa League qualifying action on Thursday, with Francesco Farioli's side leading 1-0 from the first leg.
The four-time European champions won in Athens courtesy of a first half goal from midfielder Steven Berghuis. Ajax know they will move one step closer to Europa League football this season by avoiding defeat in Amsterdam.
Panathinaikos reached the group stage of the Europa League last season but Diego Alonso's side must overturn the one goal deficit to stand any chance of reaching those heights again this campaign.
