A stunning ride from Sean Bowen sees Strong Header take the honours in an ultra-competitive Liverpool Hurdle.
He was narrowly beaten by Inthepocket in the Top Novices' Hurdle last year, but he's first home ahead of Buddy One and Hiddenvalley Lake in a thrilling race.
That was some appetiser ahead of the Grand National, which is up next at 4:00!
The two-time Stayers' Hurdle champion leads the way in the betting for the Grade 1 Liverpool Hurdle at 3:05.
The veteran Sire Du Berlais is a non-runner but the likes of Crambo, Monkfish and Hewick make this an excellent renewal of the race.

There are three Grade 1s races taking place today and the first of those is the Turners Mersey Novices' Hurdle, which is the second race of the day.
Brighterdaysahead justifies favouritism after narrowly missing out on victory in the Mares' Novices' Hurdle, but Ile Atlantique, third in the Brown Advisory at Cheltenham, could pose a significant threat.
The Skeltons do indeed get off to an ideal start, but its second favourite Gwennie May Boy who is victorious in the opening race on Grand National day.
The 9/2 shot is a comfortable winner ahead of Lord Snootie in second. It's been some season for the six-year-old!
The first race today is a handicap race and West Balboa, a winner on Grand National day last year, currently heads the betting.
