Aintree Grand National Going: Latest conditions and weather update

Here are the latest going updates for the 2024 Grand National at Aintree Racecourse on Saturday 13th April.

We're all set for the highlight of the racing calendar and the weather has dried up for the world's greatest steeplechase.

It was highly expected that the ground would be on the heavier side on Saturday afternoon, but the going has eased following a dry night at Aintree.

The weather forecast suggests there will be some showers from mid-morning but it should bring in no more than 2mm of rainfall.

The official going on Grand National Day at Aintree Racecourse is Soft, Good to Soft in places.
