Defending champions Brisbane Lions will be looking to achieve back-to-back Premiership wins for the first time since they won three consecutive titles between 2001 and 2003.

Having made their second final in as many years in 2024, the Brisbane Lions overcame 2012 champions Sydney Swans in a pulsating contest, eventually running out winners by 120-60.

2017 winners Richmond find themselves as the biggest outsiders going into this campaign, following their eight-point and 18th placed showing from 2024.

Losing 2022 and 2024 finalists Sydney Swans will be looking to go one better this season after finishing at the top of the regular season table last time out.
