Every year, the film industry awaits the iconic Academy Awards in hopes of winning an Oscar themselves.

The voting for the official 2026 nominations began on Monday 12th January for five days, closing the following Friday.
The nominations are formally announced to the public after seven days on Thursday 22nd January 2026 in the Academy press release.
The voting is conducted by all eligible the members of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) which includes over 10,000 film industry artists and leaders.
The prestigious ceremony takes place Sunday 15th March 2026 at 11:00pm GMT.
The ceremony will be hosted at the Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood in Los Angeles, California.
A key feature of the Oscars will be the red carpet experience, guiding the celebrities through the venue while allowing them to showcase their glamourous attire.
American host and comedian, Conan O'Brien will make his return to the stage with the honour of hosting the 98th Oscars.
