6 Scores Challenge: £250,000 Jackpot won on FA Cup and Championship action

The £250,000 Jackpot has been won after a single customer correctly predicted all six scores in the bet365 6 Scores Challenge this weekend.

The game was introduced at the start of the 2022-23 season and provides football fans with the chance to win cash prizes if they are able to predict the scores from six pre-selected matches each week.

This weekend's game consisted of four FA Cup fifth round matches, as well as two games from the Championship.

Bournemouth might have gone on to beat Wolverhampton Wanderers 5-4 on penalties to book their place in the quarter-finals, but it was the 1-1 draw in normal time that secured a winning start for our lucky customer.

Middlesbrough's 1-0 win over struggling Derby County in the Championship and a 2-1 away win for promotion-chasing Sheffield United against Queens Park Rangers made it three correct predictions heading into the Saturday evening FA Cup game.

The fifth round tie in question was Plymouth Argyle's trip to Manchester City and when the Pilgrims took a surprise lead, a 6 Scores Challenge win was looking increasingly unlikely.

But a brace from young defender Nico O'Reilly and a late third from Kevin De Bruyne ensured Man City's progression to the last eight and gave a number of players a chance to win the Jackpot on Sunday.

Newcastle United and Brighton finished 1-1 after 90 minutes before Danny Welbeck sent the Seagulls through in extra-time and it was on to Old Trafford for the final fixture.

Calvin Bassey gave Fulham a half-time lead and it was Bruno Fernandes' second-half equaliser that secured the £250,000 6 Scores Challenge Jackpot for our winning customer.

This weekend marks the third time that the Jackpot prize has been won.
