'4 Scores' players celebrate as England progress

Over 300 '4 Scores Challenge' players were celebrating overnight after correctly predicting all four World Cup scores on Tuesday.

Customers successfully bagged themselves £250 in cash after victories for Netherlands, Senegal, England and USA confirmed their places in the knockout stage.

Tuesday's World Cup results

Group A - Ecuador 1-2 Senegal
Group A - Netherlands 2-0 Qatar
Group B - Iran 0-1 USA
Group B - Wales 0-3 England

Netherlands sealed top spot in Group A with a routine 2-0 victory over hosts Qatar, while Senegal pipped Ecuador to second place, with Chelsea's Kalidou Koulibaly grabbing the decider in a 2-1 win.

Iran v USA was a tricky one to call given Iran’s late heroics in their previous match against Wales, and USA’s excellent performance against England.

It was ‘Captain America’ Christian Pulisic who was the difference as he scored the game's only goal in the first half.

England fans were confident of seeing off a beleaguered Wales team ahead of their clash on Tuesday evening, with over 90% of predictions in favour of the Three Lions.

Goals from Marcus Rashford (2) and Phil Foden saw off Wales in an explosive second half for England. Two goals in 58 seconds effectively put the game to bed, before a third goal late in the game added a deserved gloss to a scoreline predicted by 14.1% of 4 Scores Challenge players.

Gareth Southgate’s men will now face Senegal in the Round of 16 on Sunday 4th December.
