England have confirmed their schedule for the 2027 international summer, including the eagerly-anticipated Ashes series.
Fixture congestion following a five-match ODI series against Pakistan means England will have just one red-ball warm-up match prior to their five-Test meeting against Australia as they face Bangladesh in a one-off Test at Lord's at the end of May.
Two of the five Ashes Tests will take place in London, while Nottingham will be the most northernly venue to host a match in the series next summer.
Rose Bowl will stage a men's Ashes Test for the first time, while The Oval will once again host the series finale from 29th July.
Trent Bridge will commence the action on Friday 18th June before the second Test takes place at Lord's from Wednesday 30th June.
The series will then return to the Midlands for the third Test at Edgbaston on Thursday 8th July prior to the inaugural Ashes match at the Rose Bowl, which was given the nod over the likes of Old Trafford and Headingley.
There is eight days between the start of the fourth Test in Southampton and the fifth Test at The Oval in south London.
The previous Ashes series finished in an absorbing 2-2 draw as England fought back with victories at Headingley and The Oval, although they were denied a series victory as the wet weather in Manchester resulted in the fourth Test being settled as a draw.
