The 2025/26 Championship fixtures have been released with Birmingham taking on Ipswich in a blockbuster Friday night opener.
Blues were joined by Wrexham in the automatic promotion spots with the Welsh side facing Southampton to kick-off their first second-tier campaign in over 40 years.
Leicester City face Sheffield Wednesday at the King Power Stadium as they look to bounce back from relegation last season.
Nathan Jones' Charlton achieved play-off success in 2024/25 and they will host Watford to start off.
Fans of Norwich and Ipswich will have had their eyes peeled for the East Anglian derby with the first game between the two rivals set for 4th October at Portman Road.
Birmingham and Wrexham will renew their rivalry on the same weekend with the Midlands club travelling to the Racecourse Ground.
Ruben Selles will have to wait until November to take charge of his first Steel City derby with the Blades making the short journey to Hillsborough on the 22nd.
Fans won't have to wait long for the South Coast derby - Saturday 13th September is the date set for a meeting between Portsmouth and Southampton at Fratton Park.
