Swiatek's dominance on the clay courts of Paris continued with yet another resounding French Open success.
It was the Pole's fifth Grand Slam title and her fourth at Roland Garros; Swiatek's impeccable standards in the French capital have saw her dubbed the 'Queen of Clay'.

Swiatek was flawless in the latter stages of the tournament but her grip on the French Open was severely tested in the second round by Naomi Osaka.
The Pole faced match point in the contest but dug deep to prevail, with the comeback win proving to be a catalyst in Swiatek's fourth French Open success.
A 40-minute double bagel of Anastasia Potapova in the fourth round was a highlight of the devastation she inflicted on Philippe-Chatrier. From the third round onwards, she won 64 of 81 games, which culminated in a domineering 6-2 6-1 victory over Italy's Jasmine Paolini in the final.
It should come as little surprise to see that Swiatek is the heavy favourite to retain her crown again in 2025, having won 35 of her 37 career matches at Roland Garros.
Two-time Grand Slam champion Aryna Sabalenka is the second favourite at 4/1, despite seeing her 2024 French Open hopes ended by teenage sensation Mirra Andreeva in the quarter-finals.
Coco Gauff, who offered some resistance to Swiatek's charge in the semi-finals, is next in the betting at 7/1 alongside 2022 Wimbledon champion Elena Rybakina.
