2025 Darts UK Open: Luke Littler favourite to land maiden Butlin's title

Pre-tournament 66/1 shot Dimitri Van den Bergh reigned supreme in this event 12 months ago, but it's Luke Littler who has been installed as the favourite to last the pace this time around.

The 2025 World Darts Championship winner bowed out of the competition in the quarter-finals on debut last year, but will arrive in Minehead with his sights firmly set on adding the UK Open crown to his ever-growing list of accolades.

'The Nuke' is joined at the top of the betting by world number one Luke Humphries, who was dramatically beaten by Van den Bergh in a last leg shootout in the 2024 showpiece.

In fact, 'Cool Hand' has fallen at the final hurdle twice previously, with his defeat to the Belgian star last time around coming five years on from his 11-5 drubbing by James Wade.

Three-time UK Open winner Michael van Gerwen will have his backers after showing signs of a return to form in recent weeks, whilst the revitalised Gerwyn Price will also carry betting appeal having already won on the floor this year, as well as landing a Premier League Darts nightly success in Dublin.

The event is famed for it's unpredictability however, largely owing to the open draw, and it would come as no surprise to see a player further down the list holding aloft the trophy come Sunday evening.

Both Danny Noppert and Andrew Gilding have defied huge 50/1 plus prices in the past three years to ultimately reign supreme and there will be a plethora of players, including the likes of Michael Smith, Mike De Decker and Dave Chisnall, hoping to follow suit in 2025.

Women's world number one Beau Greaves (300/1) is also included in the field for the time time and has proven in the past that she is more than capable of challenging for honours on the main tour.
