Triumphant in the Grade 2 race last year, Pic D'orhy faces four rivals as he looks to reclaim his title for Paul Nicholls.

The 2024 Ascot Chase winner boasts a strong record at the venue having also won the Howden Hoel Novices' Chase in December 2021 and Pic D'orhy has looked impressive in previous years on his first run of the season.

Other contenders include another former Ascot Chase winner in Dashel Drasher and Le Patron, who handed jockey David Noonan his first Grade One success in the Henry VIII Novices' Chase at Sandown last year.
