The fourth and final major is finally upon us, and more than 150 players are looking to write their names into golfing folklore.
The last time The Open was held at Royal Liverpool, Rory McIlroy was the victor, holding off Rickie Fowler and Sergio Garcia, and having won last week's Scottish Open, the Northern Irishman couldn't be better placed to bid for a fifth major.

Brooks Koepka, also going for a second major of 2023, while Cameron Smith looks to take the Claret Jug back to Australia for a second straight year.
Jason Sobel has looked at four players for The Open, including a links specialist, a player who's finished in the top 20 of his last four major starts - carding three top-10s - and a couple of former champions at big prices.
