Gonzaga Bulldogs forward Drew Timme says his team won't underestimate Arkansas Razorbacks ahead of their Sweet 16 meeting on Thursday.
Gonzaga are 10/11 to beat Arkansas with a -9.5 handicap in the Point Spread and 9/4 to go all the way and win the NCAA Championship outright.
Zags given a scare
The Zags, who finished as the tournament runners-up last year, are the number one overall seed but were given a tough game by Memphis in the previous round as they claimed an 82-78 win.
The Razorbacks are the 16th overall seed and the fourth in the West Regional.
The best teams have come through in the West Regional as the winner of Thursday's game will take on either second seed Duke or third seed Texas Tech in the regional final.
The Zags look the team to beat in this year's championship but Timme is taking nothing for granted and he is expecting a stern test from the Razorbacks.
"They are a really good freakin' team," Timme said, via Times Record. "I don't think they're being disrespected. I think they're a really good team, at least in our eyes."

Timme ready for the test
One of the key match-ups that could well decide Thursday's game is how Timme and fellow Bulldogs big man Chet Holmes cope with Razorbacks star Jaylin Williams, and Timme insists he is up for the challenge.
"Taking charges isn't fun; it kind of hurts," Timme said. "He really puts his body on the line for his team to win, and that's a really admirable trait I think that he has.
"On top of that he can stretch the floor and drive and pass. It's going to be a fun challenge."
