Erick "Xeppaa" Bach has claimed he and his Cloud9 team-mates believe they are the best VALORANT team in North America right now.
In the VALORANT VCT NA Challengers, OpTic Gaming are 8/15 to beat Version1, who are 11/8 to prevail.
VALORANT outfit Cloud9 have not lost to another North American team since October 2021 when they were defeated by Rise and have since dominated the region.
They have won each of their last 14 matches against NA opponents and are flying high in the group stage of the NA Challengers One as part of the VALORANT Champions Tour 2022.
Their 2-0 win over Luminosity Gaming on Saturday means they have a 4-0 win-loss record in Group A and following their most recent triumph, "Xeppaa" insisted they are now the best team in the region - a sentiment they have previously been reluctant to express.
But with top individual performances from "Xeppaa" himself, the team are in a great position in the NA Challengers and have a great chance to prove the claim that they are the best in the region next weekend.

In their final match of the group stage, they will play out a pulsating encounter with group leaders The Guard, who also have a 4-0 record.
With both teams set to put their unbeaten records on the line, it is sure to be the encounter of the weekend and "Xeppaa" is looking forward to it.
Speaking in a post-game interview about Cloud9's performance this season, "Xeppaa" said: "We believe we are the best team in NA.
"I think with everybody that we play in our group, we're always going to be better."
As for the crunch match with The Guard next week, he added: "It's going to be a fun game for sure - it's always good going against a former coach MCE."
