Lucy Wadham is ready to take on the big guns with stable star Martello Sky at the Cheltenham Festival next week, and is "very excited" by the chances of her eight-time winner.
The six-year-old is viewed as an outsider in the Mares' Hurdle at 12/1, a race dominated by Irish-trained runners, but she has plenty in her favour ahead of the meeting, having won on her last two visits to Cheltenham. You can follow the action via our Sports Live Streaming platform.
The latest of those was over the similar trip as her 15th March target, in a mares' handicap in December, and she has continued her climb up the ratings with a convincing success in Listed company at Sandown.

She is the best of the British-trained runners according to the betting and her trainer, based in Newmarket, believes she heads to Cheltenham with a good each-way chance.
"We're really looking forward to it and she seems in great form," said Wadham. "We know she likes the track, so that's all positive. We also know the competition is going to be pretty tough, but she's earned a crack at it.
"She's much stronger in the jumping department and I think she's versatile in terms of going. I hate running on fast ground and if it did come up heavy that wouldn't be ideal. But she's won on every type of ground and just wants to win, that's the bottom line.
"You have to say we're going with a live each-way chance and we're very excited. We just hope she runs her race on the day and, win, lose or draw, that's all you can ask."
Telmesomethinggirl, winner at the meeting last year, heads the betting with Concertista, Burning Victory, Stormy Island and Royal Kahala also fancied.
