Melbourne Victory boss Tony Popovic says his players were allowed to enjoy and celebrate their FFA Cup success but there will be no hangover when they return to action against Wellington Phoenix.
Victory are priced at 11/4 to win the A-League grand final this season and all their focus can now switch back to the competition following their Cup success.
Victory won the FFA Cup final when seeing off the Central Coast Mariners 2-1 on Saturday and Popovic says the players deserved to celebrate such a big achievement without thinking about the league.
But now the celebrations are done and they return to the bread and butter of the A-League when they face Wellington Phoenix on Wednesday night.

It will be a tough assignment against a Nix side that have won their last two games but Popovic says his side are ready to keep the good times rolling.
"It was an enjoyable night and we celebrated as we should, and now we're ready to go for our next game" Popovic told reporters ahead of the game.
"We celebrated winning the cup without thinking about Wednesday. We all enjoyed it and everybody was happy because we've made some history as a group. Now we've got to use that success to want some more.
"The players are ready to move on, (but) we don't want to forget the success, have it in your mind and know what it takes to get there and know how hard you have to work to repeat it.
"We play a team that is in form and it's a great challenge for us and we'll be ready."
