Departing Western Sydney Wanderers chief executive John Tsatsimas says he is proud of what has been built over the last decade.
Tsatsimas will depart at the end of the current A-League season, which has not gone well for Wanderers to date, with the club down in ninth place in the standings and looking likely to miss out on the Finals Series, with Western Sydney 11/2 to finish in the top six.
A run of four defeats in their last five games has done the damage, but Tsatsimas says that overall he is still pleased that has been done over the course of the last ten years.
He told: The Official A-Leagues Podcast: "To see where it's come from, where it was and where it's ended up has been certainly a very proud moment in a relatively short period of time.
"You see the challenges of big clubs - a big club, big pressure breeds big expectations.
"It's a big region here, we had success early on, created the expectation, but I wouldn't change it, because then you know you're a big club."
