Greater Western Sydney midfielder Tim Taranto will fall out of contract at the end of this year but would love to become a one-club player with the Giants.
GWS are priced at 1/1 to finish in the top eight and play finals in 2022 and Taranto will have a key role to play in the campaign ahead.
In-demand star
The 24-year-old recovered from shoulder reconstruction surgery to have an outstanding 2021 and is expected to kick on and improve further this year.
The midfielder does not qualify for free agency just yet but rival AFL clubs will no doubt be watching the situation very closely.

Taranto says he loves everything about the club and would be happy to commit, but he will take his time before making a decision on his long-term future.
Taranto playing it cool
"I'm not in a rush. I want to get this first part of the season underway and then reassess after the first five weeks," Taranto told AFL.com.au.
"Right now, I'm happy, the club's happy with where it's at. Had a good conversation with my manager [Matt Bain] and Jase [Jason McCartney] and it is all going well. I'm just not going to think about it until the first five or six rounds and see what happens after that.
"I love this club so much; I love everyone here and I love Sydney; I prefer it to Melbourne. Hopefully it works out that I can be a one-club player and stay up in Sydney for the rest of my life."
