Fremantle have been hit by the news Matt Taberner is facing a couple of weeks on the sidelines with a hamstring injury.
The Dockers are priced at 6/1 to reach the 2022 AFL grand final and currently sit second on the ladder following an impressive 5-1 start to the season.
Fremantle face their biggest test of the season so far when they head over east to take on Geelong on Saturday and will now have to do it without Taberner.
The forward picked up the injury during the 35-point win over Carlton last weekend but Freo have only just discovered the full extent of the damage.

Taberner had actually managed to play on against the Blues and booted a goal in the fourth quarter. Which makes this injury setback more surprising.
"It was a bit of a different one," Dockers coach Justin Longmuir revealed. "It (the injury) was the middle of the third quarter, so that's why it was a little bit strange and we had to do a bit of investigation over the last couple of days as to whether it was a knock or a strain.
"He managed to finish the game and kicked that goal in the last quarter. He's going to miss the next probably couple of weeks."
Fremantle were already without star ruckman Sean Darcy for the clash so the loss of Taberner is another big blow as the Dockers look to keep the good times rolling.
