Sydney Roosters coach Trent Robinson is hoping his side can reap the benefit of teen sensation Joseph Suaalii spending the week with the New South Wales State of Origin camp.
The Roosters are priced at 27/50 to beat the Canberra Raiders on Sunday and Suaalii is ready to play his part after returning from training with the rest of the Blues Origin squad.
The 18-year-old was named in Brad Fittler’s 22-man squad and Robinson says the talented youngster will take it all in his stride. But he hopes it will put an extra spring in his step for the Raiders showdown.
"He obviously enjoyed spending some time in there, he's a learner so he'll always pick up stuff and observe, he accelerates himself and he's learning quite quickly," Robinson told reporters.

"Often guys like that, it's not a euphoric moment because they've manifested it already, they've dreamed about it and seen it happen. That's the first stage to go in there an experience it for him, it's a step toward something he's thought about a lot, he's really happy, but it's a stepping stone."
One player who will be missing due to Origin duty is star fullback and captain James Tedesco. However Robinson says it is nothing new at this time of year and they will be able to cope without him. Once again Joey Manu will slot in and play in the No.1 jersey.
"Teddy's a huge influence on our game and the way that we play, but we've been through this a bit over the years," Robinson added. "It's a good opportunity for the other guys to step up and play in his role and do the leadership role."
