Lucjan "Shlatan" Ahmad, jungler for League of Legends side Misfits Gaming, has been named Rookie of the 2022 LEC Spring Split by league officials.
In the next match in the LEC Spring Split, meanwhile, Fnatic are 8/15 to beat G2 Esports, who can be backed at 11/8 to come out on top.
A number of rookies made an impact in this year's Spring Split such as Victor "Flakked" Lirola of G2 Esports and William "UNF0RGIVEN" Nieminen of MAD Lions, who finished second and third respectively in the rankings.
But it was "Shlatan" who received the award, having helped Misfits Gaming finish third in the regular standings with 12 wins from their 18 matches, putting them only two wins behind leaders Rogue.
Misfits lost their first match in the play-offs against Rogue, dropping into the lower bracket in which they also lost to G2 Esports, but they nonetheless had a decent split, thanks largely to the performances of "Shlatan".

The jungler from Poland signed up for the main roster earlier this year and his previous teams include K1CK Neosurf and Misfits Premier.
He made a name for himself in the Spring Split and is sure to remain a key player for Misfits for the remainder of the season, including at the Summer Split, for which the team will now be preparing.
Following the news, the official Misfits Gaming Twitter account wrote: "In just 25 games, he has left his mark as an up-and-coming #LEC powerhouse jungler and player.
"Congrats on winning Rookie of the Split @ShlatanLoL"
