Bok "Reapered" Han-gyu, head coach for 100 Thieves, believes that young players plying their trade for Evil Geniuses could play a key role in helping to develop the LCS as a region.
In the upcoming LCS Summer, Evil Geniuses are 4/5 to win their first match against 100 Thieves, who can be backed at 10/11.
"Reapered" has been involved with the Thieves since April 2021 and will currently be preparing for the LCS Summer with Evil Geniuses among their opponents on the opening weekend.
And he is well aware his side face a tough challenge with Evil Geniuses having beaten them in the final of the LCS Spring Split earlier this year.
EG also reached the semi-finals of the Mid-Season Invitational - a tournament 100 Thieves were not involved in - and "Reapered" actually admitted to having cheered the team on in the playoffs.
He justified this by claiming that if young players such as Joseph Joon "jojopyun" Pyun and Kyle "Danny" Sakamaki - both players for Evil Geniuses - gain more experience quickly, the LCS as a region can only benefit in the long term.

"Reapered" and the Thieves will start their LCS Summer campaign against TSM next Saturday.
Speaking to Inven Global about what he hopes will be taken from the MSI, "Reapered" said: "I hope jojo and Danny grow lots through this experience.
"If jojopyun and Danny develop and show better plays, other teams can learn from them and through them, LCS can improve as a region.
"I believe all teams could have a positive influence on each other in this way."
