Toronto Maple Leafs vs. St. Louis Blues Predictions

Toronto Maple Leafs to win (-220)

The prediction on this game is for the Maple Leafs to earn the win on home ice at -220. They are coming off a disappointing loss to their rival Ottawa Senators and have now lost two games in regulation across their last three.

This is a group that should not be happy, so we expect them to come out with a strong effort. The Blues are absolutely not a pushover, but in what will be their third successive road game, it is difficult to see them defying their +180 odds by claiming the victory.

Toronto will also benefit from the extra rest advantage that comes with being the home team and Sheldon Keefe’s roster should, therefore,  be refreshed and ready to deliver the win.

Mitch Marner over 0.5 goals (+140)

We know the Maple Leafs have arguably the best goalscorer in the entire NHL in Auston Matthews, but his supporting cast is also incredible. Mitch Marner is a major member of that cast.

He is one of the best wingers in the entire NHL and Marner has been playing incredibly strong as of late. He has two goals and four points in three games since the All-Star break, but before that he had 15 points in 13 games in January.

He is playing great and should be a big contributor in this game against St. Louis. As always, he will be a threat offensively and could find one goal at least.

Over 6.5 goals (-105)

The Maple Leafs have one of the best offenses in the entire league. This is for many reasons, such as their elite forwards, top tier power play, and offensive style.

Against a mediocre Blues team, they should be able to find the back of the net with relative ease.

The Blues should also be able to join the scoring, as Toronto hasn’t been as strong defensively as they are on the offense. In an effort to win this road game, expect the Blues to score some of their own.
