The New York Jets continue to confound and confuse after downing the Buffalo Bills to move within one win of the AFC East champions on Sunday.
Robert Saleh's men are surprising the critics that labelled them the 'Same old Jets' after their opening week home loss to the Baltimore Ravens.
And they are confusing opposing quarterbacks like MVP-candidate Josh Allen and the betting public with an ability to turn around apparently hopeless situations.
After the line was bet down from 12.5 to 10.5 points, the Jets were still the biggest home underdogs with a winning record since 2007 at kick-off.
And there was no reason to expect any surprise when New York's punter slipped on that kick-off to gift Allen good field position for the opening drive.
He launched a 42-yard completion to Stefon Diggs within the opening minutes and had the Bills 14-3 up by the second quarter after running in from 36 yards virtually untouched.
The 'Same old Jets' would have folded, but Saleh's group are made of sterner stuff and, thanks to some clever offensive play-calling and defensive scheming, were able to prevail.
And the way that they ran the football up the gut of a Bills' defense, ranked first in points allowed and second in yards allowed, on their final scoring drive was frankly embarrassing for Buffalo.
Rodgers and out - Green Bay's playoff hopes sent packing?
Another preseason pick to be a title contender - the Green Bay Packers - are about ready to be written off after suffering arguably their most humiliating defeat in years to the Detroit Lions.
Aaron Rodgers and co have lost five straight to sit at 3-6 - their worst start in the last 15 years - which puts them four wins off the NFC North-leading Minnesota Vikings.
The back-to-back Regular Season MVP has to take the blame for this one after throwing a career-high three interceptions, including two in the end zone and one off the helmet of a Lions defender.

Detroit came into the game with the worst defense in the NFL, giving up five points more than the second-worst defense in the league at 32.1 points per game. Yet they held the Packers' offense to only nine points, despite yielding almost 400 total yards.
Further bad news for Green Bay arrived later with top pass rusher Rashan Gary ruled out of the Packers' final eight games because of a torn ACL and other injuries to cornerback Eric Stokes and wide receiver Romeo Doubts set to cost them time.
Tip-top Tua outshone as Fields ploughs on
Tua Tagovailoa's blossoming career in Miami continued on its upward trajectory as the Dolphins quarterback, who already owned the best passer rating in the NFL before Sunday's 35-32 win over the Chicago Bears, put on another clinic.
He completed more than two-thirds of his attempts and threw for at least 300 yards and three touchdowns for the second straight game while again avoiding any interceptions.
The Dolphins, who have won their last three games, remain undefeated this season when the ex-Alabama star plays a full game.
However, Tagovailoa might have been overshadowed in some respects by Bears QB Justin Fields. The former Ohio State star is taking great leaps forward in his own progression - going from a rookie wreck to a sophomore star - despite Chicago's struggles.
He broke Michael Vick's 20-year-old record for most rushing yards by a quarterback in a single game by taking off for 178 in total, including an incredible 61-yard touchdown run which began with a crafty pump-fake.
He also threw for three TDs and no interceptions, leaving Bears fans in no doubt that there could be a bright future if he is handled correctly by rookie head coach Matt Eberflus.
Mixon mauls Panthers with five TDs
The accolade of individual performance of the week probably has to go to Cincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon, who scored five touchdowns (four rushing and one receiving) in the AFC champions' 42-21 rout of the Carolina Panthers.
Mixon rushed 22 times for 153 yards and caught four passes for 58 yards more to tally up 55.1 fantasy football points - the most scored in a single game since Alvin Kamara's return of 56.2 late in the 2020 season.
Five is the most touchdowns scored by a Bengal in a single game in franchise history and incredibly, he scored four of those five touchdowns in the first half.
Brady breaks new ground - and Rams' resistance
Tom Brady is no stranger to record-setting and the Tampa Bay quarterback's latest landmark came when he found Leonard Fournette with a 15-yard pass in the second quarter of the Bucs' 16-13 victory over the Los Angeles Rams.
The 45-year-old became the first NFL quarterback to eclipse 100,000 career passing yards in the regular season and postseason combined.
More importantly, he led the 43rd fourth-quarter comeback of his career to keep Tampa's season on the rails and leave the Super Bowl champions looking into the abyss at 3-5.
