The Cavs still have a chance to secure the eighth seed as they will play the winner of the game between the Hawks and the Hornets on Friday, with the winner of that game going on to face Miami Heat in the first round.

Minnesota came through a tough game against Los Angeles Clippers as they trailed by 10 points early in the fourth quarter but managed to fight back to secure the win.
New Orleans Pelicans host San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday and the winner of that game will travel to LA to face the Clippers on Friday. Whoever wins that match-up will claim the eighth seed in the Western Conference and will come up against Phoenix Suns in the first round.
