Brooklyn Nets and Minnesota Timberwolves won their play-in games on Tuesday night to claim the seventh seeds in the Eastern and Western Conferences respectively.
Atlanta Hawks host Charlotte Hornets on Wednesday in an elimination game. The Hawks can be backed at 10/21 to win in the Money Line and Charlotte are 7/4.
Brooklyn push on
The Nets claimed a 115-108 win over Cleveland Cavaliers on Tuesday to claim seventh seed in the East and set up a first round playoff series with Boston Celtics.
Brooklyn were never behind against the Cavs and led by 20 points at the end of the first quarter. Kyrie Irving led the scoring for the Nets with 34 points and a game high 12 assists, Kevin Durant had 25 points and Darius Garland scored 34 for Cleveland.
The Cavs still have a chance to secure the eighth seed as they will play the winner of the game between the Hawks and the Hornets on Friday, with the winner of that game going on to face Miami Heat in the first round.

Timberwolves forced to rally
Minnesota came through a tough game against Los Angeles Clippers as they trailed by 10 points early in the fourth quarter but managed to fight back to secure the win.
New Orleans Pelicans host San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday and the winner of that game will travel to LA to face the Clippers on Friday. Whoever wins that match-up will claim the eighth seed in the Western Conference and will come up against Phoenix Suns in the first round.
