Toronto Raptors season update: Up-and-down start up north

The 2023/24 NBA season is already two weeks old and that means it's a good time for a progress report on the 4-4 Toronto Raptors.

Toronto Raptors results so far

The Raptors have been inconsistent.

They have a couple losses against teams they should be beating most of the time, such as the Portland Trail Blazers and Chicago Bulls, but also have wins against some of the elite teams in the league, like the Milwaukee Bucks and Dallas Mavericks.

As it stands, the Raptors are currently 9th in the Eastern Conference with their 4-4 record.

That's about where they expected to be going into the season, but they have room to improve, especially against the weaker competition in the league needs to be a focal point going forward.

Their wins have come against the Minnesota Timberwolves, Bucks, San Antonio Spurs, and Mavericks.

The Raptors' losses were to the Bulls, Philadelphia 76ers, Trail Blazers, and the 76ers again.
