The Toronto Raptors won by 28 last night in their first game post-All-Star break, and they're back at it on Friday night with a visit to the Atlanta Hawks.

Both teams have struggled this season and are in the bottom half of the Eastern Conference, but they each have a chance to make the Play-In round.

The Raptors come into this game with a record of 20-36 and are 12th in the Eastern Conference. The Hawks on the other hand, are 24-31 on the season and are 10th in the Eastern Conference, which means they would just qualify for the Play-In.

Toronto Raptors vs. Atlanta Hawks Predictions

Over 245 Total Points (-110)

Our first tip for this game tonight will be on Over 245.0 total points. The Raptors are coming off a blowout win against the Nets on Thursday night, a game where they allowed just 91 points.

However, tonight is likely to be a much different story as the Hawks are averaging 121.3 points per game, the third-best offense in the NBA.

While the Hawks offense is among the best in the league, their defense is simply terrible. The Hawks are allowing 123.9 points per game, the absolute worst defense in the league.

Part of Atlanta's approach is a fast-paced style of play centered around point guard Trae Young and his long-range shooting. The Hawks average the fourth-fastest pace at 101.4 possessions per game, which leads to more shots and potentially, more points.

The Hawks and Raptors have also already played three times this season. In two of those three games, the total went soaring over the number we are looking at tonight.

Because of the lack of defense from the Hawks and their elite offense, backing Over 245.0 total points will be our best bet.

Trae Young Over 22.5 Points (-125)

Our second tip for this game will focus on Trae Young from the Atlanta Hawks to go over his points prop of 22.5.

Young is averaging 26.7 points per game this season, which leads the Hawks and is 11th in the NBA. In three games against the Raptors this season, Young has scored 35, 38, and 30 points, for an average of 34.3 points per game.

With Young clearly the top scoring threat for the Hawks and based on the fact that the Raptors have shown no ability to guard him, backing Young to go over his points prop of 22.5 tonight will be our best bet.

Scottie Barnes Over 20.5 Points (-115)

Our third tip for this game will target Scottie Barnes from the Toronto Raptors to go over his points prop of 20.5. Barnes is averaging 20.1 points per game and is one of the top scoring threats on the Raptors.

More importantly, in three games against the Hawks this season, he has scored 23, 24, and 27 points for an average of 24.7 points per game.

Given that Barnes has had plenty of success against the Hawks this season, backing him to go over his points prop of 20.5 will be our best bet.
