Michael Maguire says the Wests Tigers are not far away from where they want to be as he continues to ignore the outside noise surrounding the club.
The Tigers are priced at 14/1 to finish in the top eight in 2022 but they are a long way from there at the moment after losing their opening three games.

Maguire is quick to point out that two of the defeats were close games that could have gone either way and he is refusing to panic.
Indeed the Tigers coach believes his side are on the right path and will soon start to get the results they are working hard to achieve.

Next up is a clash with the Gold Coast Titans on Thursday night and Maguire remains fully focused on his team.
"I'm that busy coaching my team I don't spend too much time worrying about the external world and I've got a great family to go home to and that's what really matters the most," he told reporters.
"We were pretty close in two of three games; a few things go our way, which we need to create, then all of a sudden we're talking about something different. We're actually not that far away from where we need to be."
No Farah rift
Meanwhile Maguire also laughed off rumours of a fall out with Robbie Farah and insists everyone is united.
"We know internally what we're working towards, Robbie's very passionate about who we are ... he's been a really good force behind what we're trying to achieve."
