With Liverpool coming tantalisingly close to checking off the third trophy on their way to an unprecedented quadruple, bet365 have priced up the Reds at 400/1 to win all four next season.
Had Aston Villa held on for a point at the Etihad on Sunday, Liverpool would have completed the domestic treble, with just the Champions League – which they’re 4/7 to win – standing in the way.
A 1500/1 shot at the start of the season was as short as 5/1 after Manchester City were knocked out of the Champions League by Real Madrid.
Strangely enough, it’s the two domestic cups that were proving the most elusive for Jurgen Klopp, who’d made just one final in his first six seasons.
Klopp has previously been dismissive of domestic cup competitions, regularly playing heavily weakened sides – even once fielding the ineligible Pedro Chirivella – and focussing on the Premier League and Champions League.
But this season has seen him deem his squad deep enough to compete on all fronts, and while he’s still rotated his team throughout the EFL and FA Cup, the sides he’s put out have been good enough to reach two finals, beating Chelsea on penalties on both occasions. It remains to be seen how many incomings and outgoings there’ll be at Anfield over the summer, but a full season with Luis Diaz, as well as the addition of Fabio Carvalho from Fulham, certainly won’t do them any harm.
They’ve also shown over the last few years that they’re nearly unmatched on the European stage, reaching three finals, and only Bayern have a (marginally) higher UEFA coefficient, with Liverpool having been prematurely dumped out of the competition in 2020 by Diego Simeone’s Atletico Madrid.

Their record in Europe is formidable, and while Manchester City continue to have an apparent mental block when it comes to the competition, a strong case can be made that the Reds will be the strongest team in next year’s competition too. While reaching three finals in the last five seasons, they’ve won a superb 34 of their last 55 games, with many of their 12 defeats coming in two-legged ties where they still progressed.
But it’s the Premier League arguably remains Liverpool’s biggest hurdle.
The Reds’ last three campaigns (excluding their injury-hit 2019/20 season) have seen them amass mammoth tallies of 97, 99 and 92 points, losing just six games, yet they only have one title to show for it, such is the relentlessness of Manchester City, who’ve pipped them by a point on two occasions.
