Patrick Kisnorbo says Melbourne City played their best football of the season so far as they fought back to earn a 2-2 draw against Western United in the top-of-the-ladder clash.
The point keeps City at the top of the A-League on goal-difference and they are priced at 5/4 to win the minor premiership even though Western do have two games in hand.
Great fightback
It looked as though Western would run away with the game and take all three points after they raced into a 2-0 lead at AAMI Park on Saturday.
Leo Lacroix and Rene Krhin got the goals in the opening 30 minutes before Connor Metcalfe gave City hope when pulling a goal back on the stroke of halftime.

Whatever Kisnorbo said at halftime worked as City came fighting back to level matters through Jamie Maclaren in the 66th minute.
Kisnorbo was delighted with the way his side played in the second half and felt they could have taken all three points.
"I think in the second half we dominated completely," Kisnorbo said.
Missed chances
They missed some great chances throughout the game with Andrew Nabbout and Curtis Good the biggest culprits but Kisnorbo says missed chances are part of the game.
"If you scored after every chance it would be like AFL," Kisnorbo added. "This is why our game is so different, so unique.
"We played the best football, second half especially, we have this year. The way we were playing, moving the ball quickly on a difficult pitch was outstanding."
