St George Illawarra coach Anthony Griffin has revealed Moses Mbye will play at hooker against the Cronulla Sharks and is backing him to keep a cool head in what is expected to be a feisty clash.
There will be plenty of pride on the line at Wollongong’s WIN Stadium and with bragging rights also on the line, the Dragons are priced at 59/50 to win the clash.
With Andrew McCullough set to miss out with an elbow injury Mbye will be handed the No.9 jersey and Griffin is expecting a cool performance from him.
Griffin brought him in from the Wests Tigers during the off-season and says this kind of game is made for him.

"Moses is a real pro - he's still only 27 but he's been around and he's played State of Origin, he's played finals football," Griffin told reporters on Wednesday.
"He's bought that experience and that calmness, he's a real professional with the way he prepares himself and that's rubbed off on a lot of our guys."
Mbye has been coming off the bench in the opening two rounds but will now have to put in a bigger shift. However Griffin has no concerns.
"We've got a lot of faith in in what he can do tomorrow night - he's really fit,” Griffin added. "He's got a left foot kicking game as well, which brings a point of difference, so it's disappointing for Andrew but it gives Moses a chance to start and play a leading role."
