Port Adelaide have been hit by the news Robbie Gray has been added to their injury list for the clash against Hawthorn on Saturday.
The Power are priced at 3/10 to beat the Hawks but they will have to do it with a makeshift forward line as a number of players have been ruled out through injury.
Gray has picked up a knee injury and will sit out the Adelaide Oval clash along with Orazia Fantasia who has a knee issue and Charlie Dixon who is nursing an ankle problem.
Dixon’s physical presence in particular has been missed but Hinkley is backing his forwards to come good against the Hawks.
Port duo suffer injury setbacks
Mitch Georgiades, Todd Marshall and new recruit Jeremy Finlayson will lead the attack and Hinkley is confident they will get the job done.
"There's definitely some challenges with getting the score on the board that we want and we've got a bit of experience missing," Hinkley said.
"But I think it's a great opportunity for people who are developing their own games and looking to improve and build as a group.
"I think that's really real for us. Todd and Mitch and even Jez have only had a couple of games together and I'm sure they'll get better together."
Meanwhile Hinkley is also well aware of the threat Hawthorn, who are now coached by Sam Mitchell, will possess.
"He certainly encourages his players to play and I hear his language around 'freedom' and letting them play a little bit,” Hinkley added. "They're really well drilled already, their defence and offence are not too far apart and there's no favouring towards one or the other."
