Every Canadian on the PGA Tour in 2025

There will be seven Canadian players regularly battling for some of the biggest prizes in the game in 2025.

Let’s take a look at who they are and what their priorities will be as they look forward to great fortunes in the new year.

Corey Conners

While Corey Conners was unable to add to his two PGA Tour titles in 2024, he was still one of the most consistent performers on the tour as he did not miss a single cut.

Both of his triumphs have come at the Texas Open, the most recent of which came in 2023, and his best performance of 2024 came at the RBC Canadian Open at Hamilton Golf & Country Club.

He will also have been encouraged by the ninth spot he claimed in an elite field at the Olympics in Paris, so the priority for 2025 will be to continue to push up the world rankings and claim that third Tour victory.

Adam Hadwin

Adam Hadwin’s only PGA Tour victory so far came at the 2017 Valspar Championship and it was at that tournament in 2024 that he claimed a tie for fifth place.

His best finish came at the Memorial at Muirfield Village where he claimed third spot behind Scottie Scheffler and Collin Morikawa, but he was unable to build on that strong performance during the remainder of the year.

Hadwin failed to post a top-25 finish in ten subsequent efforts, so he will be looking to get back into the swing of things as soon as possible to help rectify that record.

Mackenzie Hughes

While Hadwin struggled in the closing months of the PGA Tour season, Mackenzie Hughes will head into 2025 on the crest of a wave after a series of strong fall performances.

In three post-playoff events, Hughes was fourth at the Procure Championship, eighth at the Sanderson Farms Championship, which he won in 2022, and then fifth at the RSM Classic, the scene of another triumph in 2016.

There looks a strong chance he will hit the ground running. His other notable results included third place at the Valspar Championship in March and seventh place at the Canadian Open in June, so there looks a strong chance he could have a memorable season.

Taylor Pendrith

Taylor Pendrith looks like another player to keep a close eye on after he posted his first PGA Tour success at the CJ Cup in May.

That showing was a springboard for a series of consistent performances as he finished in the top 25 in 11 of his 13 subsequent efforts after struggling in the first quarter of the year.

That looks a strong foundation for what could be a campaign when he is regularly challenging for the big prizes.

Ben Silverman

Ben Silverman moved back into the PGA Tour in 2024 following strong performances in the Korn Ferry Tour and it was a bit of a learning process back among elite company.

He collected seven top-20 finishes, the best of which was a tie at the Procure Championship in September, which should have provided him with enough confidence that he can make a strong start to the year.

Adam Svensson

Adam Svensson will certainly be looking for better fortunes after an underwhelming year that left him back outside the world’s top 100.

He was seventh at the Wyndham Championship in August and tenth in a strong Genesis Invitational in February, but they were the only two top-ten finishes he managed to post.

Svensson has previously tasted success at the 2022 RSM Classic and three times on the Korn Ferry Tour, but he will be looking to get himself back on an even keel as soon as possible.

Nick Taylor

Nick Taylor was the toast of the nation when he became the first home winner of the Canadian Open in 69 years in 2023, and he took the confidence he gained from that success into the first half of 2024.

He was seventh in January’s Sony Open in Hawaii and then went on to claim his fourth PGA Tour title the following month when he won a playoff at the WM Phoenix Open against Charley Hoffman in Arizona.

However, it was a surprise that he was unable to build on that and he failed to gain an individual top-ten finish in the remainder of the year, so he clearly has work to do.
