NBA - US Sports: Doncic calls for final Mavs push

Luka Doncic says Dallas Mavericks will give their all when they travel to Phoenix on Sunday for Game 7 of their incredible second-round series with Western Conference top seeds, the Suns.

Dallas are 23/10 to win in the Money Line and Phoenix can be backed at 10/11 with a -6.5 handicap in the Point Spread.

The Suns looked well placed to secure a spot in the Western Conference finals after two games as they raced into a 2-0 lead, but Dallas have managed three wins in the last four games to leave the series level at 3-3 and in need of a decider.

Doncic inspired big win

Dallas should go into the game in confident mood after a blowout 113-86 victory in the last game, with Doncic leading the scoring with 33 points, 11 rebounds and eight assists.

Doncic may have led the scoring in Game 6 but his shooting percentage wasn't particularly impressive as he went 11-for-26 from the field.

The Slovenian has been ineffective from deep over the course of the last four games as he is shooting just 7-33 from three-point range, but Doncic says he isn't interested in statistics as long as the team are winning and he insists the Mavs are ready for their series decider with the Suns.

"I don't care about stats if we win. If we win, I am good," said Doncic, as reported by the Kansas City Star. "Statistics don't really matter to me, but if we win it is going to be amazing.

'Give our everything'

"We have another game. We won this game on the defensive end, and now we have another game. It is fun. It's the playoffs, and we are going to give our everything."

If Dallas are to win the series and progress to the Western Conference finals they will need to come up with a huge performance. Phoenix have won all three of their home games in this series and have five wins from six games at the Footprint Center in the playoffs so far.

The Suns won both of their games against the Mavs in Arizona during the regular season and have won each of the last eight games between the two teams as the home team, while they finished the regular season with a league-best home record of 32-9.
