North Queensland cemented their place in the top four of the NRL as they defeated the Dragons 31-12 on Friday night.
The Cowboys are priced at 8/13 to stay in the top four and continue to go from strength-to-strength after picking up their 10th win of the 2022 NRL campaign.
The win was again built on a very solid defence. The Cowboys have conceded just 46 points in the second half of the last 14 games, which is the best in the NRL. It would have been even better had they not conceded a late try on Friday night.
Even so Cowboys coach Todd Payten was delighted with the effort and team-spirit shown by his players. He was pleased with the way they worked hard for each other.

Bellamy wary of Tedesco threat
"I just loved the way we competed because there a couple of line breaks against the run of play but when we made the tackle there was four or five or six players in the picture and by the next play we had everyone behind the ball,” he told reporters after the game.
“For me that was probably the difference tonight. I thought we out-competed them. I thought for the most part we looked pretty comfortable, I thought we knew what was coming and everyone just did their job.
“We held another team to 12 points or less is not a bad stat to have and it just shows again how hard we are working for each other."
