John Aloisi says confidence and belief is growing by the day in the Western United camp as they continue to chalk up the wins.
Western are priced at 7/2 to win the A-League minor premiership this season and as they continue to pick up wins the players are starting to believe they can go all the way.
Aloisi has been a revelation since taking over a side that finished the 2021/22 A-League campaign in 10th place on the ladder and they are now genuine title contenders.
United sit top of the ladder after picking up seven wins from their opening 12 games and they do have games in hand on the sides below them.

There is still a long way to go before the trophies are dished out but Aloisi says the belief is there.
"The boys are starting to believe," he said. "We're always improving. We're looking to improve, we're competing each game with whoever is put in front of us and we're building.
"We're not talking about where we are on the table or where we want to be. Everyone knows that every club wants to be there at the end of the season competing for silverware. We're no different.
"But we're just focused on improving each game, each training session.
"But you can see the lift in the players, you see the confidence growing in the playing group and that's important - and that comes with results."
United will look to keep the good times rolling when they face Sydney FC on Wednesday night and Aloisi says they know what they are up against.
"We know what Sydney FC are like," Aloisi added. "They've been playing that way for a number of years, they're a good side, they've got quality players and it's not going to be an easy game.
"But we're looking forward to it because it's another challenge."
